The Canton of Fribourg considers photovoltaics to be an essential part of its energy and electricity supply. Net SA has drawn up a photovoltaic solar strategy to ensure that its development is implemented effectively. It proposes various measures and fields of application that should enable annual production to be increased from the current 200 GWh to 1300 GWh by 2050. The Council of State recently adopted this strategy.
