As part of the inauguration of the photovoltaic system at OS Wรผnnewil, the Energy City label was presented to representatives of the Sense municipalities and the Sense region on October 3, 2020. The Sense district is awarded the Energy City label for its energy and climate measures.
With 297.7 out of a possible 475.0 points, the Sense district achieved a score of 62.7% in the last audit, its best result to date. To obtain the label, a score of at least 50% must be achieved. In the previous audits in 2011 and 2016, the Sense district achieved a rate of around 57%.
