The Organisation for the economy of renewable energies and energy efficiency has a section in Fribourg. Since June 2023, the aeefribourg/freiburg works for a safe, economic, and sustainable energy supply. Together with local actors of the energy field, Anita Fasel who is the co-president of the group, are engaged for the improvement and harmonization of the rules and laws in the Canton of Fribourg and its communes.
