Energy planning for communities, regions and cantons relies on an efficient use of resources and the sustainable use of domestic energy resources. Thus, it allows for a safe, economical and environmentally friendly energy supply, and at the same time, contributes to increased regional value creation and quality of life. Energy planning includes an analysis and overview of the existing energy consumption and infrastructure, the potential for energy efficiency and use of domestic energy resources.
