The Canton of Fribourg’s Innovation Fund promoted the cooperation between the universities and companies in the canton, through funded research projects in science and technology until 2017. The financial contributions were intended for universities as well as for elaborating projects with companies, which had significant economic implications for the canton. The Innovation Fund invested in products, processes and services, while assuming up to 50% of the total cost of a project. NET Nowak Energy & Technology Ltd., led the Secretariat of the Canton of Fribourg’s Innovation Fund until 2017.
Moreover, NET Nowak Energy & Technology Ltd. supports further innovation projects in the Canton of Fribourg in close cooperation with the Cantonal Promotion Agency; for example, through the New Regional Policy (NRP) and the Switzerland Innovation Foundation.
