Over the last 5 years, the Migros Aare Cooperative has been pursuing the aim of producing its own renewable electricity through photovoltaic power systems on its real estate parks, in order to cover its own needs. The solar power produced covers already 4% of the Migros Aare Cooperative’s electricity consumption and contributes significantly to lowering its CO2 emissions.
In this context, NET Nowak Energy & Technology Ltd. received a mandate in 2014 to act as a neutral and independent consultant throughout the entire course of the project, up until the implementation of each individual system, while supporting the builders and planning team, as well as carrying out quality assurance measures.
