Photovoltaic Programme of the International Energy Agency (IEA PVPS TCP)

Held Chairmanship (2001- Spring 2021) and holds Secretariat, International Energy Agency Photovoltaic Power Systems Programme (IEA PVPS TCP)

Represented by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE), Switzerland is an active member of the International Energy Agency Photovoltaic Power Systems Technology Collaboration Programme (IEA PVPS TCP), one of the largest IEA TCPs. In relation to the Photovoltaics Research Programme of the SFOE, NET Nowak Energy & Technology Ltd. represents the SFOE in the Executive Committee (ExCo) as alternate member and runs the Executive Secretariat. 27 Member States from the major OECD countries participate in this international programme for research cooperation in the photovoltaics field, as well as the EU and four industry organizations. The work includes both technical and non-technical issues, as well as topics which need to be resolved for the widespread and large scale use of photovoltaic systems in various applications. Stefan Nowak had the honour to chair this globally important programme from 2001 to Spring 2021, and could, thus, significantly shape the programme’s orientation. The greatest benefits of this cooperation are considered to be the extensive international network, as well as the accessible know-how and available expertise.
