SOLAR-ERA.NET - Cofund 2

Launch of Joint Call on 4th of June 2018
SOLAR-ERA.NET will launch the Cofund 2 Joint Call on 4th of June 2018. Proposals dealing with solar power technologies (PV and CSP) can be submitted by 2nd of October 2018. The total funding budget is 22 million euros. Participating countries and regions are: Austria, Belgium-Flanders and Wallonia, Cyprus, France, Germany and North-Rhine-Westphalia, Greece, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey.

20 Full Proposals Selected for Funding
20 full proposals were selected for funding by the SOLAR-ERA.NET Cofund 2 Joint Call consortium based on the ranking list set up by independent international experts. The total volume amounts to 25,2 MEUR including some 17,8 MEUR of public funding.

20 Full Proposals Selected for Funding
20 out of 34 projects submitted as full proposals have been selected for funding by the SOLAR-ERA.NET Cofund 2 consortium, based on the results of the evaluations carried out by independent experts. The projects involve companies, institutes and organizations from Austria, Cyprus, France, Germany and North-Rhine-Westphalia, Greece, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey. The total volume amounts to 25,2 MEUR including some 17,8 MEUR of public funding. Once contracts finalised, the first projects are expected to start from September 2019 on.

SOLAR-ERA.NET will launch the Cofund 2 Additional Joint Call on 7th of October 2019. Proposals dealing with solar power technologies (PV and CSP) can be submitted by 29th of January 2020. The total funding budget is 9 million euros. Participating countries and regions are: Austria, Belgium-Flanders, Cyprus, Germany and North-Rhine-Westphalia, Greece, Israel, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey.

37 pre proposals submitted
37 pre proposals were submitted in the SOLAR-ERA.NET Cofund 2 Additional Joint Call by 29 January 2020 (deadline). For the support of innovative projects in the field of solar power generation, i.e. photovoltaics (PV) and concentrating solar power (CSP) / solar thermal electricity (STE) a total funding budget of 9 million Euros is available. A total of 12 countries and regions are participating in this call: Austria, Belgium-Flanders, Cyprus, Germany and North-Rhine-Westphalia, Greece, Israel, The Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey.

22 preproposals recommended to be submitted as full proposals
22 preproposals were recommended to be submitted as full proposals in the SOLAR-ERA.NET Cofund 2 Additional Joint Call after being checked by the respective funding agencies. The deadline for submissions is 25 May 2020.

A total budget of 9 million Euros is available for the support of innovative projects in the field of solar power generation, i.e. photovoltaics (PV) and concentrating solar power (CSP) / solar thermal electricity (STE). A total of 12 countries and regions are participating in this call: Austria, Belgium-Flanders, Cyprus, Germany and North-Rhine-Westphalia, Greece, Israel, The Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey.

22 full proposals submitted
22 project applications have been submitted as part of the SOLAR-ERA.NET Cofund 2 Additional Joint Call.

9 Projects Selected for Funding
Within the SOLAR-ERA.NET Cofund 2 Additional Joint Call, following the evaluation carried out by independent experts, 9 of the 22 project proposals submitted will be financially supported with a total amount of 7,8 MEUR contributed by the following countries and regions: Austria, Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Israel, The Netherlands, North Rhine-Westphalia, Spain, Sweden and Turkey.
