pelletpreis.ch / prixpellets.ch – Anita hands over to Anita
After 18 years, Anita Niederhäusern hands over Switzerland’s independent pellet price platform to NET Nowak Energie & Technologie Ltd.
Since 2008, pelletpreis.ch / prixpellets.ch has published the average monthly price of wood pellets in Switzerland. It also compares pellets with heating oil and gas, and comments on price trends. The platform is now a key reference for pellet heating owners. Traders and major energy suppliers even index their long-term supply contracts to an independent price survey.
When looking for a successor, founder Anita Niederhäusern wanted a company with solid energy expertise but no ties to the wood energy industry. She chose NET, which is known for independent, objective energy analysis and for operating energy platforms.
“We are taking on this succession with great respect and commitment. Our goal is to continue pelletpreis.ch in Anita Niederhäusern’s spirit and to ensure continuity,” says Anita M. Fasel, CEO of NET.
Anita Niederhäusern will support the NET team throughout the transition period. The platform’s registered office moves from Fribourg to St. Ursen (FR).
